LOCATION: Don Jóao Resort Situated 800 mts. from Anjuna Beach, 55 K.M from airport, 72 K.M from Margao Railway Station, 17 K.M from Thivim Railway Station, 29 K.M from Panaji. The Anjuna 'Wednesday Market' is a short distance away (the best sandy beach locally), and 'Ingo's Saturday Nite Bazaar' is an approx. 2km journey.

ACCOMMODATION: There area total 36 rooms in 2 blocks on 3 floors. The twin-bedded rooms (up to 3 can share), all have an entrance / seating area, ceiling fans, a fridge, en-suite shower & WC, and a balcony facing to the front. Air-conditioning is on request, subject to availability and payable locally. Board is offered on a Bed and Continental Breakfast basis and Christmas and New Year festive meals are included. This is a well-established hotel with British clients and ideal for those who just want to 'chill out'. The beach is half a mile away or can be reached by taxi, which costs around Rs 50/- (70p). Highly recommended for ex-hippies who are now too old to rough it!

There is a swimming pool where shade is provided by mango and coconut trees, plus the poolside restaurant, 'The Spice Garden', offers both local and international cuisine. The hotel has a 24-hour reception / T.V. lounge offering safety deposit boxes (payable locally).
